Re: Radiator in the rear
Yea what Jim said, when going slow/in low range its sweet (provided theres decent fans attached) but when on open road they start getting hot, unless theres a way of directing air into front of rad. Thats the case for mine anyway, ive got a scoop to direct the air into rad at road speed and its been ...

And yes there will be some more action shots coming up, a bit of work needs to be done to the old girl, then we'll get it dirty again. Got some repairs on the brakes, hydro assist and electrics. I'm going to "back-half" it too. I'll be tearing the axles down for some maintenance, and replacing the ...

Re: Air Down Or Not To Air Down?
Another point is the construction of your tyre whether bias or radial. Bias ply tyres generally have thicker/stiffer sidewalls and hold their shape alot better when aired down, compared to radials which tend to squat/balloon out. Bias plys are also less likely to get sidewall damage because of their ...

How much weight do you normally have in the truck? Remember a standard hilux is designed to have a load in the back and tow a trailer. Before you look at coon springs pull the bottom 3 leaf's and lengthen the shakles to keep the ride height and see how much of a difference it makes. I have put in a ...
