Thanks for the photos of the latch - look like standard slam latches. As for the door light switch, not sure if it would work with your half doors on but you can get a spring which holds the button in when the doors are off - i.e http://www.jeep4x4center.com/no-doors-l ... ee001.html

Looks good. Any more details or photos of the half doors? Assume they are aftermarket or home built? How does the latch work? Well worth it. Didn't read the whole article but have done a similar install in mine. Although mine didn't come with A/C the compressor I bought bolted up to the factory mount at the top (in place of idler). Did mine slightly different in that I didn't install an oiler as I modified the internals ...
