I cut the bumper, turned the oil cooler, for the gearbox up side down. Had to lengthen the hoses.bolted the recovery plates, that you get from Christchurch. Fitted CB into Disc, up in the roof /sun-visor area.

Replaced the stock springs and shocks in the Land rover Discovery, with terra firma shock's +50mm and extreme springs gone up a bit more than the 50mm but sure it will settle down after a bit of off roading. Very happy with the result .

Moved the LJ78 Prado on - Gone to a home that will bring it back to some of her former glory.

Finally got the guts to do the camel cut. Had to get new tyres so ended up with 31/10.5/15's on steel rims. Yet to make the draws.

Stripped the red grease, from my new Ridge Ryder 9500 from super cheap,and replaced with marine grease.
Found a bit of ply wood to replace rear door card on discovery to fit a cooking shelf.

replaced lift pump on 300tdi for WOF, (fuel leak) now just have to slow down the right side indicator to match the left side. For WOF

Prado off road for a month now , and no recovery points on the Discovery, equals no fun and all work

Fixed cruise control on Discovery

Repaired leak in the radiator on the LJ78....(I Hope, otherwise a new rad.)

Sold my R50 terrano

Have heard but (not tried) that 80 Series fit and give a 50 mm lift.
I have a LJ78

had 2.4 lte done at Errol's Diesel Fuel Injection & Turbo Charge Services in manukau $345 I took it out and refitted it all so had injectors done $425 again I removed and fitted

Prado up and running again, New water pump, Injector pump new seals and 'orings, Injectors reco-ed radiator stripped and cleaned.
How to spend a grand with out trying.

Prado slowly going back together, got injector pump resealed and then decided to get injectors done (a crowd in Manukau) get them back Monday.
been quite last to weekends but woodhill patrol on the 5th dec

Water pump in all working again, although I did see drips from the injector pump, there goes my lockright

New water pump now on, (From Toyota) just have to refit radiator, cleaned and fixed.

Pulled the front off the prado, water pump leaking so far have it in bits, have to see son-in-law for crank shaft pulley.
