any experts or claiming to be on a arm suspension your advice would be apreciated... pros and cons of single or double arms..if i make a single arm heavy duty enough im hoping to get away with the one as mounting the bushes will be easier but do i need to just take the time and put 2 in?? dont know...

so the buggy is finished (other than panel work and getting few of the dash electrics working) decided to take it for a test run and couldnt get a trailer so dumped the clutch up and down the driveway a dozen times... all good it moves the clutch is a bit hard so altered that a bit to no improvement...

selling my surf its a 2lt motor which still goes really well has been lifted and certed rego on hold and i will sort out getting k as they are about 500 over limit wof is expired but as far as i know will only need a minor exaust leak fixed which i may get done soon.. dont know of any other Wof issu...

just had a look and dont have power to the pump so will have to sort that out as i assume this is the biggest problem.. the computer wont be earthed via it being mounted would it?

ill check the spark plugs but cant get any fuel out of the tank which i suppose would be the biggest problem will look into that. i know the pump is working but hopefully dont have the lines hooked up the rong way

so ive got the motor ready to start before simpliflying the electrics and cant get it going.. got all the earths(im pretty sure) hooked up. the motor will turn over but thats about it... any one have any ideas or ask me a ? if you know something but need more info... its a sr18DE motor cheers

any1 got any advice on wiring?? got the motor(SR18DE) wired back up and tried to start it today. it turns over really well but won't start. ive got everthing hooked up that i think should matter but still wont start. does the catalyst converter need to be hooked up as thats the only thing i haven't ...

if you are doing any kind of bar work arc is definatly the way to go mig's are easier to learn on but to get up to a decent size wired one you are looking at fair few dollars where arc welders are bit more affordable... if you do go with gas mig take into consideration where and how much issue it is...

thanks slide didnt think about aeration hopefully this doesnt cause too many issues as for fire and explosion have thought about this which is why i figured i'd put in in the back so less likely to damage it and no matter where i put it this would be a risk but it shouldn't get damaged where it is.....

check your brakes left hand side is probably slightly engaged even when you have your foot off brakes. see if the discs are square not tapered and even wear on both sides as this may mean one or more of your pistons are not retracting... hope this helps

yeah thanks oldyella the motor is rear mounted and is now in got that all mostly sorted just got to do final alterations so the rear suspension works well.. got some racing shocks off a m8 who does stock cars and they work brilliantly still as i say mucking round with the rear suspension and then wi...

yes but if I chop in the middle will on the running gear tranferbox etc fit or have to be removed I know the rear drive sharft has to be shortened but hows all the other stuff going to go park your truck on driveway, grab a beer (If your old enough to drink :D ), get under your truck with a tape me...
