My names Ben. I'm a service tech for a sockburn based company.
I currently own a 1995 Nissan Terrano and a 1989 3dr Scudo.
I have very basic exp and spend most of my time plodding round out the mak.

Re: Zuki Pod Filter Conversion
Yeah, thinkin I might stick to the paper filter, popped into Repco Wainoni post earthquake and their prices have dropped significantly since I last bought one a year 6mths ago, that and the most 4wding my Zuk has had has been over earthquake damage in New Brighton (where I live and one of the worst ...

Re: G16A or G16B How do I tell? manual hubs & headers
I found this out the hard way when trying to locate a replacement rocker cover gasket for my '94 16v took it home and it was wrong, the guy at Supershit said it was the only gasket listed for both G16A and B engines....a trip to Repco solved the issue.

Zuki Pod Filter Conversion
Hey fullas, I want to change the stock airfilter on my 94 Scud to a pod filter for performance and it's-cheap-to-replace reasons. I currently have the stock setup with a homebrew snorkel (Made from 65mm downpipe etc). Has anyone attempted this? I'd just sick of forking out $80 odd bucks every time I ...

Re: Vacuum Gauge Installation
Because I can?
haha
Really, to keep an eye on my engine, I have reason to suspect engine wear. Perhaps rings or valve seals but I'd rather diagnose it myself than take it to a mechanic to have it checked out.
This Zuk has spent too much time at the mechanics already....

Vacuum Gauge Installation
Hey fullas Scored myself a Vac Gauge off a mate recently and figured I may as well chuck it in the Zooky underneath the Voltmeter. Just a few questions: The instructions state that the T Fitting is to be installed before the 'Vacuum Boosters and Power Brake Systems' Two questions; 1) Which one of ...

Re: steering box leak
Had the same thing with mine recently with the exception of the fact that it was the output shaft leaking, not the top ones.
Perhaps try tightening the nut to stop the leak?
I couldn't be arsed pissing about with mine and just had it recon'd

Re: Snorkel Installation - Terrano 3.0V6 1994
My mate is looking at getting one of these for his 3.5L Pajero SWB. Has anyone installed one of these snorkels on a Paj? Is it likely to still be as difficult as the terrano one is to install if we are going to install it ourselves?

Re: 12-13 June
Myself and some mates decided to go find some snow on Saturday. First went to Arthurs Pass, found bugger all ( but some arrived today apparently.. how typical ), decided to go for a drive up the Mt Cheeseman Access Road. Was one hell of a day, found the snow and am definitely going to be going back ...

It's a G16A Fuel Injected and from what I was looking at earlier today all the hoses are pressure fittings (not easy to undo)

94 Escudo Issue/Problem/Irritation
Hey guys. I have a 3dr 94 Escudo that turns over but wont fire, I had a mechanic mate check it out and he reckons it's the fuel pump. We took the sparkies out and checked them over and they are dry as a bone so it does look like there's no fuel going to the injector rail. Is there any way I can ...

Completely unrelated question but Woody, do you make bash plates (sump Protectors) for 3dr Zuks too?
