Re: why is IFS better than solid axle offroad

Why do you honestly care what someone else is running? It's all in the driver, not the truck and if they ...

Re: Hilux Surf 1KZ-TE Engine Running Temp?
Put it before the standard radiator cooler - so the oil flows through the aftermarket external cooler then through the factory radiator cooler ok. FYI with the standard syatem In my experience the only time the trans gets really hot ie the red dash light comes on is when the radiator water gets too ...

Re: Hilux Surf 1KZ-TE Engine Running Temp?
Go drive your truck put your hand on the bottom tank you will actually feel its quite cool nowhere near as hot as up top. Like an engine a trans has a working temp so if your external cooler cools it further than that going through the rad will only bring it slightly back up to correct temperature ...

Re: Hilux Surf 1KZ-TE Engine Running Temp?
leave the factory one there and run in series (before) your factory one. The factory ones actually work really well, Ive seen people bypass the factory one and just use external then run into over heating issues. So id run just the factory one of yeay even better both

Re: Hilux Surf 1KZ-TE Engine Running Temp?
When you think about it end of the day your engine is cooled by air(people seem to overlook this), the water is purely there to transfure the heat from the engine via the radiator into the air, more air passing through rad more cooling. You can have the biggest radiator around but if theres #### all ...

Re: Hilux Surf 1KZ-TE Engine Running Temp?
If your factory rad is in good condition then leave it. If you do towing fit an external trans cooler in series with your existing factory one as described above if your not towing dont worry about it. Heres the key PULL APART YOUR VISCOUS FAN HUB AND REFILL WITH EXTRA SILICON FLUID! .you can buy ...

Re: 13b+t help turning diesle up?
#### just crank that fuel up she will be mean. Diesels that have no waste gate are designed so the Turbo is sized to the motor and then the whole shebang is just limited by the fuel. True it is more suited to stationary motors these days as a waste gate allows you to run a smaller exhaust housing ...
