im going to pull it all apart tomorrow and see what the go is.

truck has new radiator, water pump and hoses but will try new rad cap.

turbo whistles from about 1500rpm upwards and gets louder the more load gets put on obviously as the boost climbs.

will see what happens tomorrow!

98 model last of the square shape with the 4jb2 engine, no airbags. iv got some 15x7 rims and already ordered a set of goodride mt's for it.

Set of firestone SATs plus rims. Tyres been in storage for last x2 years. Good cond all hold pressure no leaks. X3 have 8mm tread x1 which is a Dunlop super traction has 4mm. have you thought of the injectors as well???

i had the same problem in a isuzu wizard of mine, although the injectors were faulty from new due to a call back. but the same thing happend it was also an auto and the check engine light would come on and then it would stall.

check what it idles like from cold to warm and see if what injector pump it has in it. Have you checked the idle when in nuetral or when the clutch is in? as this can sometimes be the case as well i have found or if it has an auto choke on it ? i have a td27 non-turbo and had the same problem kind o...

Just so u know guys we have had 20mm of rain so far, im up whakamarama so fairly same area so i would say she will be muddy and slippery as well as gale force winds!!!

isuzu's have good solid diesels although the 3.1's apparently blow a bit of oil out, im not convinced though!!! i had a 1991 isuzu mu 2.8TD, was a beast 3" bod lift and 33's on it with snorkel etc. which as said by muskie i also regret selling, as it was my black beauty haha!!! short wheel base...

well top gear did prove that the hilux is fairly industructable !!!

And sorry my mistake no they wernt used in WW2, but the engines were used in tanks and aircrafts.

And by armed forces i wasnt specifically meaning "NZ"!
