The sun was out so washed the truck.....it was covered in Street grime, really dirty stuff, had to use a whole bucket of hot soapy stuff, nearly called for help at one stage cause I got my sponge stuck in the gap between the tray and the cab, but nicely recovered it with the left hand while the ...

Re: Auckland area
Not to much in the Auckland area unmless you gain private land access somehow. This is where Clubs can be good. Otherwise Woodhill 4x4 Park is the best fun around followed by Muriwai. Some clubs go into Waiuku Forest (South), but to be honest, its the same terrain as Woodhill but not as good if you ...

Re: Rim width - if you could choose
Hi there.....I have a Hilux and have been running the Kuhmo 33 KL71's on 10" rims with a neg 44 offset for a couple of years now. I run them tubeless and they arent beadlocked and I regularly go down to 12-14psi. I have never popped them off the bead. Go for the 10"s I reckon, the tyres look great ...

Like yours, my freespool was farkin hard to pull out, where as other friends could pull theres out with their little finger. Anyhow, Brett sorted it for me, I beleive it was just a grease change (Inox .......really ...

Lets not forget that this is all about passing on a concern to the 4wd community so that we are aware. Being informed is better than not surely. People can take it how they want, its just information, but Peter doesnt deserve any of this criticism that I have been reading. In my opinion if we dont ...

I did this on the back of my hilux when I first got it to raise it up, I wound up the Torsions in the front. It was a good quick cheap fix, but long term if your doiong this to get height then I would get some raised springs......chur

OK, I opened up the Diff at long last, 5 teeth cracked off crown wheel. I can now confirm: 43 teeth on the Crown 10 teeth on the Pinion = 4.3 ratio The dia is 7.5" So this goes to show the tables are all wrong in my case. A05B code means jack shit !! The only site that was correct was the www ...
