Re: 1uz surf cooling issues
Hey come and have a look at mine if you want. I have almost finished putting the ls1 in my surf. I cut the front to move my radiator forward so I could fit a hydraulic fan. The fan is bloody impressive to listen to. Just sorting out a couple of last things and it will be done. I have a custom alloy ...

Hey guys,
Does anyone have any pins/ wires that they have removed from an LS1 ecu. It is a long shot but they are hard to get a hold of.
Regards,
Sam

Re: Rear Mounted Batteries
Not really. The other stuff draws bugger all in the scheme of things. The winch is what I am trying to cater for. Being in the industry I am in I have access to a variety of sizes of cable. I have gone and run a 120mm2 cable front to back. Its a huge bloody thing to deal with but is rated to 500amps...

Re: Toyota part # for 1KZ-TE power steering pump seal kit ?
i have rebuilt my old one before. your best bet is to actually pull it apart and take the o rings from it to a seal place. It cost $90 for 4 o rings from toyota and would have been $3 from a seal place.

Re: Bilstein shock servicing in Christchurch pls?
autolign is the place to go to get them fixed. they send them to their subsidiary in Auckland called Racelign. I have had mine repaired twice now for various reasons and usually if you drop them off before 4ish in the avo you will get them back 2 days later.

Re: Hilux Surf KZN130 won't start
The solenoid is inside the sort of rectangle with a triangle on top shaped bit that runs along the side of the starter. If you hear a clonk then it is likely that the contacts inside are stuffed and it is just a unfortunate consequence. If you can't hear a clonk from the starter then it is the start...

yeah i would pull the pump apart and look at what is inside it. i bought a rebuild kit for my 1kz pump from toyota for 90 bucks and it came with about 4 o rings and a internal snap ring. the orings you could get matched up and pay 3 bucks for. the snap ring doesn't need to be replaced.
