Steering shaft splines.

Hello, have a 96 solid axle hilux and am after a new steering shaft to go from the joint under the steering column to the steering box. Toyota want big money so wondering can anyone in the know tell me if any other toyota model has the same shaft/similar shaft with the same splines ? Doesn't matter ...

Hello, just recently joined and have a few questions for those who are in the know Got myself a '96 solid axle Hilux with 1uzfe, r151f trans, 2"shackle lift and aussie lokkas front and rear. Thing is ride is harsh and axle flex is poor so am thinking of going over to coils all round, but am looking ...

Nice one Jerry, I see yours has the "spare hose on top of the intake as well" LOL. The hose on top of mine is the bleed for the hydraulic clutch release in side the bellhousing. We don't get those V8 badges over here.

Well at last have worked out the image thing, so here are some photos of my engine bay. 4.0 litre lexus lump in 1996 Hilux, not many over here in England. Yea future mods to include turbo/supercharging with aftermarket ecu ( maybe in about five years of saving LOL ) OME front and rear springs with shocks to suit, winch bar and a nice paint job.
That will do for now.

Hi thanks for welcome ! Yea it is hard to find somewhere to go offroading over here without upsetting the authorities. There are plenty of green lanes about but quite often they are also used by the horsey people so you have to watch out. There are plenty of offroad centres dotted around the country ...
