How warm is warm ?, mine sits a little under half way on factory temp gauge and climbs higher on any hill, and the kaimais, well its almost 3/4 up the gauge

Will end up getting my turbo rebuilt with garrett internals, Cgad at bay turbo was great with info...but finding someone who does not charge like a wounded bull to fit a boost compensator is the hard bit.

550 post turbo is about right, maybe a little high if your have the weak piston TD42. i would wind up the boost a little more to 10-12lb if its the weak one. maybe drop the fuel down a tad. patrol forum has the exact details on what they will handle. it all depends on which version TD42 you have ...

I have a turbo conversion done on my TD42, offroader kit, using SCR320 turbo pump wound up a little...pyro fitted post turbo and around 9 psi ( not ideal i know), question is full boost is around 2-2200 rpm, not intercooled, i dont see any visible smoke and driving up the kaimai's EGT's are around ...

I have found that of the 6 Safari's I've had, they all preferred to run different oil. My current one runs Shell oil, and burns Valvoline faster, where the last motor was fine on the Valvoline Agree'd, my current safari did not like valvoline unlike my last one...so far this one is running well on ...

I have used castrol magnetec diesel 15/40 in last change, seems quieter in running..

I have also fitted plenty of there snorkels and use the template as a guide only, no problems to fit with a little knowledge, I even bought some GQ snorkels from a cancelled shipment and have fitted 4 already with no problems, exactly the same as what offroader sell, only cheaper to ORE members

any one have a 5 bolt flat exhaust flange, my turbo has the 5 bolt cast flange that take the "V" style clamp and with DSR sitting 50mm further back my dump pipe will almost touch the firewall
