Re: Question for those running 31's & FTS lift opinion
My 2 cents worth. Ive got 31s with a 3" calmini kit suspension lift kit and a 2" body lift and i dont have any rubbing issues, except rubbing on one side on the chasis which i cant work out, but any way. The gearing i have found to be quite high, when out 4wding 1st in low range was good in most ...

Iv got the 3" calmini suspension in and 2" body lift and thought a steering damper might help the handeling a bit. Has any one ...

Re: Replacing Auto hubs with manual hubs
What you do comes down to the condition of the hubs, if they are turning smoothly and no obvious problems then I would just fit them. If you want to service them before putting them on you can have a look at this video: m For grease I would use a 'washout resistant' grease, the type they use on ...

Manual hubs for escudo
I think its time for the auto hubs to go, judging by the constant clicking while in 4wd. I was wanting to know if someone knows where the best place to get manual hubs from is and if they are hard to replace. Also i saw auto hubs for $60 on TM is it worth buying a few sets of these for the cost of ...

Re: Vitara Escudo front diff (help)
Did u have any other issues with your kit? As I have done the same with my escudo and while i havent broken any diffs or cvs ( although they at on quite a steep angel even with the diff drop brackets) I have had trouble getting the camber correct ( too negative) even with the calmini camber bolts ...

Rims for 31x10.5x15 tyres ?
Im going to get some 31s for my suzuki to go with the 3" calmini kit and was wondering what size rims are required for this. Calmini say a 15x7 inch rim with a backspacing of 2.5 to 3 inches. Iv heard some people say the 15x7 is too narrow is a 15x8 better ? And also how much off set is required -20 ...

Re: Broken 3"calmini kit
Thanks for that mate, sound like a general consensus that calmini is crap in the front end (just a shit i had first hand experience) and iv heard that a lot about the front diff. Good idea to replace it with steel rather than the hassle of constantly breaking it.
Cheers

yea thanks for the advise guys. It was mainly the camber that was the problem as this cant be adjusted without the bolts. Must have just got a bad pair of struts, quiet unlucky though i guess.

Suzuki escudo exhaust
im looking at getting a 2 1/4 " exhaust system done to my zuki. getting it replaced from in front of the cat all the way through, with a performance muffler (don't have the technical description). i got quoted a relatively cheap price for him to bend it all up and fit it. Just wondering if there is ...
