IFS Landcruiser diff - are they 8 inch?

Hi guys, Are the IFS cruiser diffs G series (8inch)? And does anyone know if the c/w and pinion is interchangeable with a live rear axle to get the right ratios? Thinking about an IRS conversion for a race car and running one upside down in the rear but need the better ratios in my current live diff ...

Yeah, was scratching my head at that too.
Will be 4.1 all round then.

Do petrol ones have higher diff ratios?

I it's 9.5inch though... Too big.

Thanks for that info man, it all helps.

EDIT: Just ran the codes off dads diesel 80 series and has (Apparently) 3.1 A series 138mm in the front and 9.5" K series 4.1 in the rear. Just for reference.

Hi guys, I'm after a high ratio G series diff head. Needs to be under 4.0:1 preferably below 3.7 but long shot. Will be custom mated to a T series housing so don't need any ancillaries. I'm running small wheels with a 1uz so don't want to be cruising at 3200 rpm. Would settle for a F series from ...
