The best way to find out if they need to be affiliated would be to email the president or secretary of the NZFWDA and ask for their opinion
But my opinion is both would need to be members of the NZFWDA as this would cover them for insurance just like the trials guys when they compete

you can get the same motor from 4WD bits for $909.69
they are not cheap but they are very good

hi there i have put a VH44 extra booster in my 70 and it made a huge difference two other mates have put the same VH44 booster in other 4x4s one was a prado v8 upgrade and the other was a pajero that now runs 35s and they have passed certifying you can get the booster from any B and T cheers Brent
