would i have to use the gearbox for the later series ? and computer ? best to purchase a wrecked ln130 ? hoping to only need the engine =( i managed to swap the 4x4 for my old honda crx ... i thought i had done quite well but now theres oil all over the right side of the engine bay and its pumping ...

Just wondering if i would be able to swap a later model (89+) 2lt into my ln61 ? without too many complications and is there anything i need to know before diving headfirst into an engine change ?(only changed a petrol car engine b4)
