would anyone happen to know where to find an engine manual online for a TD42 or would they know at what rev the governor comes in when in nuetral. (so how high they rev to).

Any advise would be helpful cheers.

have you tryed jacking up the back wheels putting it in gear with the cable removed and looking to see if the drive is turning??

Theres nothing wrong with the 1kz-te mate as long as you look after it it will look after you. For their size they have awesome power and torque, and todays turbos are rather reliable.

Eventually i will be replacing my 2l-te with a 1kz-te intercooled engine when i have $$$ and time
