First comes registration Then comes confiscation They will start with Ecats, then all semi's including shotguns and your plinker 22. Next is pump's and pistols Then we will end up like england - a country with a long hunting and shooting heritage which only a select few can now enjoy, and violent ...

Re: 80 series fog lights fail WOF
You have to remove the whole light unit to get to the yellow shroud that covers the fog lamp bulb. half hour job. Or...... pull the fog lamp bulb out, shove a screwdriver in the lamp hole and smash the yellow glass shroud. It looks like the yellow glass shroud has brocken off and is in the bottom of ...

Re: Leslie Road Mamaku to Putaruru
You can ring Handcock forestry management in Tokoroa to find out. I used to have permits for that area of the forest to take motorcycle tours through the forest 5 years ago. Back then leslie Rd was a Transit NZ rd which is used as a emergency bypass for the Rotorua Hamilton state highway and was ...

You dont need it. It just restricts/disrupts the airflow. Pull it out and cut out the fins.

Re: Intercoolers and exhausts Landcruiser VX 96
Rage 3" exhaust, cheap and does the job well. I think 4wd bits in Auckland stocks them. Top end - go Beaudesert exhausts in Aussie. Stay away from Scotts Rods exhaust - crap quality. Intercoolers , well you have opened a can of worms there. Check out Lcool - m for countless threads and hundreds of ...

As has been suggested before, check out the firewall to front inner guard mounts. Its a notorious problem that every 80 owner should be aware of and check regularily. Expensive fix if you ignore it! Re: ideas for fixing windows on landcruiser??
x3 please.
Had mine 'fixed' so many times i could have paid for a new 80.
The last wanker who 'fixed' them threw my tinted window away, replaced with a second hand window, chucked out my seals and didnt replace them.
So yes please for a set of window rubbers and seals.

Hi Tim,
Those 80 series longfield wiper seals i bought off you are primo!
They wipe the ball clean as a baby butt. I cant see any sign of grease or water getting past these babys.
Thanks again.

Re: help a newbe out bodylift on a 80s cruiser
go for a 1" body lift, easy as. 2" body lift you have got a heap of things to adjust on an 80 - radiator mounts, extension on steering shaft, bumpers/barwork, gearbox tunnel mods etc.

Re: 92 80 series to old???
Afew bits of 80 series info for you. 80 series autos will need rebuild between 300 - 350 kms. 12 valve models should have Big end bearings done as they are notorious for failing. You would be unlucky to buy one that hasnt been done though. 12 and 24 valve motors are strong motors and should last ...
