Hi guys , i started another thread where i was planning to put a nissan sd33 turbo diesel into my 1972 toyota fj40 tow truck , i ended up buying a complete rg160 safari , then i bit of measuring and a few beers , i unbolted the safari body , rolled out the chassie and bolted my cruiser tub on top ...

oh woops yea im in wanganui and open to offers , seams to be a really well looked after engine go to turn it over and it does about half a revolution then fires and runs smooth hardley ever use the choke

Any one be interested in re-homing a 2f 4.5 6cyl petrol out of my cruiser it has alot of character , mans best friend this one , boat anchor / doorstop maybe ? 3sp gearbox also can deliver cheers Ben

do what did mate get in and run a wire from them and tee it in on the rear park light circuit easy as

wish id investegated that when i had my 1kz surf did the same thing , as for that squeak its the steering max stops on each side i just wipe grease over them , they come out with nylon pads from factory but most are long gone

ok 3b is what i originally wanted but couldnt find a cheap enough one . The truck is ex kearneys tow service wellington , they bought it in 1972 and stoped using it in 2007 !! pretty cool old truck , going to look good with the new winch on the back , im in wanganui

really ? im after a kzn185 wiring loom with the fly by wire plugs as my mate has put one of those engines in a double cab hilux.

the kzn 185 has fly by wire throttle mate and the kzn13o has manual throttle

cheers guys , yeah ive checked the nissan box has cardan shaft hand brake and its drive shafts are both off set to the drivers side same as landcruiser , it definatley would be easyer to fit a 3b though , cant really find a cheap pone with a box thats all , im getting the safari motor and box for ...

because i want to go to diesel and was thinking 3b or 2h but they are hard to find and im getting this sd33t and gearbox and a good price

hey guys im building a landcruiser fj40 winch truck , using a large hydraulic winch off a truck on it , planning to drive the hydraulics off the pto ,does anyone know if you can use a 70 series pto drive on a 40 ? as im finding it hard to find a pto drive unit for a 40 on its own cheers ben
