Re: 92 Escudo warning light
Well I can hardly type this as I'm still holding my head after a phone call giving me the price of a new sensor flown out from Japan. $516.21 incl. If I can track down a used one, is there any way of knowing how much life it has left in it?

Re: 92 Escudo warning light
Ok, took it to garage, turns out it is the oxygen sensor on the exhaust. It only has one wire coming out of it where there should be four - the cable it is plugged into has four. Looking into getting a new part. Anyone else struck this?

Fitting Extractors
Just wondering what is involved in fitting extractors to a 1992 1.6 Escudo 16valve. Could I do it myself with basic tools, what gaskets (or anything else) are required? Is there anything to watch out for, apart from ensuring I have the correct part for a 16 valve. Thanks.

Re: 1992 Escudo - What are these switches for?
Thanks guys I can't believe I couldn't work this out. I had certainly pulled the switches (nothing happened because the windows were up), up but not tried to push them. Not sitting in the back seat I hadn't thought about how to open the rear windows either. A temporary (hopefully) brain spasm, duh ...

1992 Escudo - What are these switches for?
Hi guys. Just got a 1992 5dr Escudo but can't work out what two switches on the console, beside the handbrake and directly behind the 4WD lever, are for. Any help appreciated. Keith
