Hi Adam, I thought that the words pick-up was a American Contenent phrase, here they are all ute's and Toyota is a major player. Adam, you sound as excited as hell , and rightly so. My advice is to take a deep breath and get your feet on New Zealand soil. The pace here is not that great, get yourself settled, go on a couple of 4x4 trips with a local club/group and see what vehicle would best suit your needs then jump here on ...

Bring some stuff with you in the house pack (what you dont need sell), but be wary of Left hand drive stuff maybe not fitting over here. Maybe buy some wheels, etc to bring with you (bring extras to sell and make a few $$$ too). I think maybe your target of $5000 for a working / modified wagon is ...

So Im moving to auckland new zealand from b.c. canada in february..
