Surprising how many times full noise is needed!
My Defender with standard muds would not get over that sand dune.
Tubes and lower pressure next time I think.

I think Top Gear over cooked it. The original Landie worm driven hydraulic winch would have done the trick!

Hi,
Anyone know the story about access through Cape Palliser Lighthouse to Te Kaukau Point. Is there a locked gate and if so how does one get access?
Is it worth driving? ( three shinny'ish vehicles, newish defender & disco 3 and a Prado)
