So had undone the bracket to bellhousing and the downpipe join to mid section of exhaust and still not enough movement.
Ended up just winding out the studs from the block and putting it in place on the turbo then putting the studs back in easy as!!

I would of refilled it had i known it was empty prior to drilling a hole in it to lock it to test if it was poked or not lol....oh well new viscous it is.

So after replacing waterpump, thermostat and radiator turns out my viscous fan had no clutch fluid in and was poked....worked fine at crusing but under load wasnt running fast enough.
Fixed that up and good as new now!!

Think i may have missed a bracket somewhere but someone will know if i have. Was removing exhaust mani on my surf and undid all the block studs/bolts etc and the bracket on the downpipe but when it came to remove didnt seem to have any movement to get it off. Yeah have already pulled apart etc to diagnose issue so no problem there.

Had a call from the guys in Nelson and said that the ecu had some faults which they have repaired and are sending back so fingers crossed all is good and itl fix my issue.. Will update later this week when the ecu arrives back.

Hmmm wish i tested this prior to sending ecu off this morning.
However have had one fitted for off road use for ages and has just started not selecting O/D.
Fingers crossed its the ecu and all will be sweet again.

Sweet thanks after a bit more google searching last night come to the same conclusion that its most likely this.
Will package up and send to Anything Electronic this morning apparently they are the ones to send it too so hopefully it sorts it out. Bloody annoying only having 3 gears lol

Mudstars are pretty much clones of buckshots and are faaaarr cheaper if your looking around. Yeah I saw that when I was researching but then got these for $219 a tyre including fitting and balancing cause the tyre shop mucked up pricing on trademe but i clicked buy now so they honoured the deal ...

Ended up getting some 31/10.5 R15 Buckshots for a decent price, preform mint in the mud iv taken it in so far.

Looking at a 2nd surf a LN130 as my 3.0L one to tidy to bush bash. The one im looking at has a issue with the 4x4 system.
