V6 commodore engine
Hi. I'm fitting a v6 engine in to a mitsi. I need to know who knows lots about these conversions. Who can I talk to. I'm using a vr v6 with a manual g box. BUT it's a auto engine with a auto ecu with vats. Possibly need to fit a vn loom as I have a manual ecu for a vn?? Need some help. Nick

Just had a look and yes it will. Thanks for that. Anyway I have found the issue. It was a crank sensor wire. I checked it all last week but must of overlooked it.

I found a ECU fitted it and it did not fix the problem. However it needed replacing as the old one was rusted an corroded. I then checked the cam and crank sensor. I was getting a signal from these so the last thing it left was the ignighter. I fitted a new one and that fixed it. So it's all up and ...

I will check timing. Also forgot to mention it has had this stopping and starting problem for a while. Ill check timing tonight but would still like to buy a ecu. Thanks for advice.

Inside the housing is a wire circlip feel around in the grease and you will fel it, pop it out with a screw driver and then the inner c.v will fallout. i have a 5spd bighorn and at idol running there is a chattering noise from the gear box, but goes once fot is on the clutch, i have herd this lots on a variety of diesel gearboxes but dont know what it is, is it serious??? its quiet when driving, just noisy at idol, thanks

we do wheel alignments at work (www.championauots.co.nz) we align all makes and models and if there is any play in steering ect we wont do a alignment, obviously they must of had a hard time getting the toe set correctly with worn parts, all adjustments are important so we like to get every thing ...

as far as im aware the bellhousing pattern changes at vs, so vn to vr is the same and vs vt vy ect differnt correct me someone if im wrong,

i am not sure i have seen they are releasing them in bigger sizes,still yet to come across them in 33's. will do some digging tomoro im looking at getting a set of them aswell they look like a decent tyre, the predocessors were awesome so be intersting how the new ones go maxxis man said no bigger ...

maxxis bighorn 764's are awsome, the mudzilla is great to but only going forwed and not so good on sidlings, had a big talk with the maxxis rep and he reckons there best tyre is a trepodore, but i recomend the latest bighorn 764

vn-vr blocks the same but vs on the v is wider so ur box wont bolt up,
