i finally got to drive the fawty,and the brakes are either on or off,and you have to press the pedal along way down before anything happens.it fells like most of thr pressure is going to the front (discs)

The pedal would've been hard with the other booster cos it prob had a vacuum leak. What were the brakes like before you fitted the hilux parts? How's your rear drum brake adjustment? Check that then rebleec the system, shouldn't be too hard to bleed at all.. the brakes before the hilux parts where ...

Why not put a factory booster and master cylinder back on, problem solved? If I remember right you have discs on the front? so bleeding would be very easy

i would of but i got given the 94 hilux one and thought it would work,

i put ln65 hilux cailpers on mine,but my discs are soild,if yours are vented i think you can only use 60 series

i kant get it out of the garage atm to test it properly but i put a jack under the back diff n pushed the pedal and the stoped instantly

if you need any bigger stuff like lights,gearboxs,diffs etc in the future try

You may need to remove the residual pressure valve at the master cylinder.

hey i have put a disc step on the front of my fawty, it has 60series disc's with ln65 hilux cailpers,is this the right setup .twice now i have driven round and after about 20minutes smoke and the brakes lock up with the dics's glowing.1st pic is with the brakes off. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums ...

good stuff 2.f... would be epic imho if ya got rid of rear guard surrounds, they came on the truck when i got it and someone has done a bloodly good job of doing them as there is no bog made proper shackles out of flat not angle, painted roof white, remove 'truckin' roof lights and didnt overpaint ...
