Hi Guys,
Just wanted to put in a plug for ZukiCentral which will be based in Upper Hutt over Easter weekend. Four days of exploring Wellington and only Suzuki trucks allowed.
Check out the details at www.4wdonline.co.nz or ask questions on zukicentral@gmail.com

Anyone got some 16 inch wheels for Vitara?
I'm trying to get a second set of 16 inch standard Vitara wheels for my 97 swb. Currently I'm running the poxy looking 3 spoke alloys but need a set of muds and am hoping someone has a set of standard steel or 5 spoke alloy 16s lying around they dont want. I'd rather put 15s on but so far I've tried ...

Anyone got a short front axel for a Sammy?
I grenaded my drivers side front and need a replacement. Has anyone got a spare they are prepared to sell?
I'd put up an image of the shattered parts but cant figure out how to do it.

Hey Jerry,
I'm after a 4 door manual 2.0 GV. I'll give you $10 for the name brand cover just to give me an incentive to fill the rest of my order.

Yep, I'm looking for a 4 cylinder 2.0 in the original Vitara 4 door shape. Someone must've done it. Classic lines and a great motor.

Machining 3-4 mm off the sliding spline would work for me. I was just wondering what my hubs were really made for.

Free wheeling hubs
I bought a set of "Samurai" hubs from Trademe last year and decided to fit them last week. They went on fine (I thought) but, by coincidence had a brake problem on the same wheel the next day (okay I thought 1 mm of pad thickness would be enough for a few more ks - it wasn't and the whole pad ...

There is a carby fix for the ones fitted to the American Sammys. I think our carb is different. Checkout AksFac on Zuwharrie.com

I'm pretty sure Ricks build on Zuwharrie and Pirate includes a York 210 fitted onto whatever motor his rig has. If you haven't seen it the build is fantastic but there's 35 pages so far.

Re: Overheating g16a in 413
I've done the g16a swap (FI) and used the 1300 radiator which I did wash the mud out of. I used the clutch fan and used an electric fan on the front but it hardly ever cuts in. I also have a high mount fan blocking straight through air flow. I'd say you have more problems than the radiator.

$126 from Suzuki with the metal fittings. I should've laughed but I needed it, paid up front, then cried.

Replacement clutch cable for a Sammy
I've heard there are cables with metal fittings and ones with plastic ends. The metal ones are better for off-roading- durr. Anyone know if both types available in NZ and where I can get a metal one trouble free?

I should add that the Subie MC is not an exact straight swap. You have to extend teh push rod a bit but there are plenty of how tos on that. Search on Zuwharrie.com.

2000 - 2003 Imprezza
1998 -2003 Legacy
2001 - 2003 Outback
I'm looking too.

What's this Samurai wire?
There is a wire coming out of the brake Master cylinder on my Samurai. Does anyone know what its for? I'm doing the Subaru M/C replacement and the one I've got doesn't have any electrical fittings. Its probably low fluid but just checking.
