Re: Turbo problems
auto or manual?
sounds more like a electical fault or fuel starvation issue to me as it runs fine when not demanding so much fuel.
when a turbo stops working...its stops working. there's no in between

Re: wanted ln61 window switches
just an idea, and if your having trouble finding them, the switches themselves in the hilux are the same as the toyota cresta family of vehicles, i found it cheaper to do this for my LN130.

Re: Mates selling his bull bar
sorry to rain on his parade, but why so much,? a brand new ARB winch bar wouldn't even set you back what he is asking for his second hand alloy one.? Guess you haven't priced up an arb bar lately then, over 2k for a winch compatible one. 92 safari tell your mate to ring ali arc and get a price then ...

dunno, bout you fella's, but when eqipped with one of these...mate just brought a 2001 pajero, i was appalled. we took it for a "test drive" out himatangi, the only area where the mitzi didnt fail compared to the 90 hilux was comfort. 6 times in two hours the hiux had to come to the rescue of that ...

Re: Isuzu MU 94
and try for the 4jb1 2.8. the only thing that'll go wrong is a leaking rear main seal.
oh and look over the power steer system thoroughly, as the are a little expensive to fix if leaking

Re: Daymoz excuse
looking at it i'd suggest building as a purpose vehical and registering it as home built, that way it wont be subject to the more stringent ltsa revin proccess which requires it basically to have all new seatbelts, brakes, etc. as apposed to a home build where you can employ brakes from different ...
