thanks for that, super cheap had them for 89 bucks, and this way I can charge in the vehicle rather than take them out again, I looked at a multiple charger there as well but that was 279 a nice toy tho ..

It only happens in a snow storm, and it did, conked out managed to jump start to battery store mainland batts gave good service, the alternator is putting out only 9 volts, even turning on the heater stalled it in traffic, driving home a nightmare. charging batteries now to get into the city ...

my jeep sits around for ever and a day dual batt 24v, it isn't under cover so cant leave a charger on it for days to keep it perking along ( not my daily driver sadly )...one mechanic advised optima blue tops ( i think ) the other said glass matt somethings, ....are there pros and cons for each ? it ...

late last year I saw part of one at a wreckers, will have to take the jeep in and see if it fits, then there is the worry of building a controller for it, never seen one in a jeep so not sure what the set up is..

yep 15 x 31 baja atz i looked at the mtz but for me I rep calendars from chch to timaru and the coast so many miles on road. I saw a new tyre out the injection moulded more of a mud terrain tyre, if things work out I might get a set for the mitsi jeep ....they cost me 394 each balanced and fitted ...

just had tyres done by the rakaia guys the mickey t are a great ride quieter and grip the road better ( so far ) than the maxxis I had on before..
good service as well, the mechanic spotted the lock nuts undone on the tie rods ? can't complain now I just have to get them dirty.

I have a old mitsi jeep have had the inside done with rhino coating, and humming haring about underneath, was thinking of garnet blasting then getting por 15 done as well, is it the best for that work or am I better to have old school underseal.

have a 1980 one of these would walk on broken glass for a factory pto winch my mechanic tells me some came with them as standard and should be a bolt on fit, anything else anyone has I could be keen on as well..

have a chat with peter munro commercials on blenheim rd chch, i replaced shocks and springs in my 96 diesel challenger, they measured them up got them in from aussie ( old man emu ) i think, as pajero didn't fit..

Its an old mitsi 2.7 non turbo diesel 4dr5 vintage 1980, when starting lots and I mean lots of white smoke out the back but only when cold, runs great when going. I replaced the glow plugs pre quake in june lol, am guessing and thats risky, it's the fuel pump maybe out of ajustment ? or is it worse ...

with all this time I now have on my hands courtesy of the quake, i though id do a filter oil change on my 4dr5 almost vintage jeep, that was easy, it's blowing white smoke when I start so thought id change the glow plugs, now you can all start laughing, I've had diesels for ever but always had stuff ...

this is a weird one, i have a mitsi jeep with the old 4dr5 engine, had a avs imobiliser fitted to it before xmas and all good, I took one of the two batteries out, while doing so the metal strap touched each terminal, a quik spark ( I know who would bolt a strap beside each terminal almost touching ...

thou I don't have one, I worked in a 4x4 yard for a couple of years, and drove a the mu and big horn, fantastic trucks in swb sold in aussie as the holden monteray, from memory Isuze where / are the biggest manafacturer of industrial diesel engines. we had a few issues with the later engine the 3.0 ...

lol that normaly would be bounce the car on each side and lord ive forgotten but you can tell by the bouncing, theres a small dust cap on the side of each one, I got excitted at the start I though they where ajustable ranchos, but no such luck, Ill have a look on the weekend and see whats underneath ...

Ok im used to struts and coils, on normalish 4x4s, I knew my Jeep, had leaf springs so while I was crawling underneath just for the hell of it, I spotted small shocks , its got me curious how do they work , and how do you check them ?
