Who is in the know on these. I have had one in my cave for a couple of years. Broke a front axle last time I took it out, but dont know what the front diff is. I have read that they have Dana 44 and 30 but how do I identify them, and who has parts for sale. Cheers

What auto are you planning on using? I am making an adaptor plate at the moment to replace the mk1 version in current use. Use the lower ones in place of the top then make a new lower set to suit. you will need to make new chassis mounts and use longer shocks. Oinked the motor and box out of the commadore, pulled auto off, getting ready to make transfer/auto adaptor to stuff it into escudo. Washed cow shit out of hair/eyes/nose/ears. Note to self, no more paddock bashes before getting under donor cars.

Im putting together a escudo/hilux/commodore V6. I have a remote transfer box from a patrol. Anyone have any reasons why i shouldnt use it behind the V6 auto? Be nice to get some feedback before i mount it up.
