Re: only 10psi on a TD42

Re: only 10psi on a TD42
Hi thanks for all your replies. What do you guys thinks a safe pre turbo EGT is on a silver top TD42. I thought that 700c was too hot. So if i summarise the turbo is a little bit too big for this motor (as i havent done any pump mods etc) I have since added more fuel, another 1/4 turn on top of the ...

Re: only 10psi on a TD42
do you think that the only reason that i can only get 10psi is that i have a restrictive j pipe and not enough diesel.
I forgot to add the j pipe is made from 2 50mm od pipes not just 1
Cheers

Re: Terrano WD21 2.7T economy
I just did some testing. With my 31x10.5 mud tyres i get 11.5l per 100km, i just went to auckland 200km exactly with my mates 30x9.5 all terrains on and got 9l per 100km. the same journey that i did to get the 11.5l per 100.

Re: Terrano WD21 2.7T economy
I get around 450-500 per tank which is 60l, which is about 12-14l per 100 km auto with 31s. Thats mostly country driving. I think that it should be doing heaps better than that.
