Re: 91 vs 95

Not a 4wd but when i had my Celica running a 3SGE, i paid less for 95 per km than if i ran 91 per km. I am not sure if it was a mind thing that made it seem like it had less power but i spent a month on 91 and a month on 95. It was definiely worth while for me to run 95 in it. I also tired 98 but ...

Not quite - The reason most 4WD vehicles in outback Ozzie have snorkels is to get cleaner air on dusty roads. They very seldom see deep water...

Re: Snorkel Head, Which way to point

Foward facing for open road driving to force feed clean air. Side facing in dusty conditions or driving through scrub and trees to prevent dust and debris clogging up the air cleaner, whilst still getting some sort of forced air from the windscreen. Rear facing for really dusty conditons or heavily ...

Snorkel Head, Which way to point

Hi Guys, Juat had a snorkel installed and the guy has pointed the head across the widscreen. Just curious as to why this might be? Not wanting to start an argument about what is better just the idea behind it. Anyway here is a pic http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll123/parriehunter/uploads ...

Thank you for this, I was speaking to Bruce last night on it while I was sitting in traffic just north of the Terrace Tunnel.

Terrano Help

Hi,

I have a spot of rust in the A Pillar by door hinges, got a quote but to try and save some money I want to try and remove the front guards.

Searching around I cannot find anything on how to do this.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks
