Re: WTB WD21 Terrano auto hub part
I recently discovered that my truck won't actually engage 4x4 due to the front left auto hub. I am in need of the part in the photo ( if anybody knows what it is called or a part number would be good ). It is for a 1990, manual gearbox, 27 spline Thanks ! Jump starting a VX 80 series Cruiser
Hi guys.
What's the go with jump starting a VX 80 series dual battery cruiser?
I went to start mine today and the batteries were as flat as. She has been parked up for just over a week.
I used 2 spare batteries and 2 sets of leads but is there an easier way?

Re: 80 series ignition feed
Well it seems using the charge fuse was not the way to go. Driving to work i noticed the instrument lights for the turbo and the cam belt were glowing evr so slightly. I unpluged the feed wire fron the charge fuse to the relay and these lights went out. I am now thinking I may have to either put a ...

It is all sorted and wired up.
I tapped onto the charge fuse under the fuse box. What a mission it was to get to it.
No pictures yet sorry.
The fridge operates from the truck now as it should.

Re: 80 series ignition feed
Seems I do not have this fuse box between the air cleaner and battery.
The 24Valve models must be different so I will have to look further into the charge fuse idea.
Yes I had a poke around this plug too with my voltage meter but could not find what I was looking for either.

Or you could get a VSR
Yes I may have to look further into the charge fuse.
A VSR is of no use for running the caravan fridge whilst in transit I'm afraid.

I need the ignition wire to operate a relay or another wire that comes alive only when the engine is running.
This relay then powers a 12V feed to the caravan to keep the fridge running when in transit.

80 series ignition feed
Hi all. I am looking for a 12V ignition feed in the engine bay of my 80 series diesel truck. It is only required for energising a relay but I do not want to go through the firewall if I can avoid it. Has any one an idea where one is? PS. I have had a short poke around with a multimeter but had no ...
