Samurai wheels
...need some help again. So for bigger tyres on Samurai with lifted springs are these the kind of thing I need? m Not sure about offsets, how much etc.. Will a body kift like this m be worth getting aswell? Anywhere else good for rims/tyres? I'm sure when looking the other week I found somewhere ...

Ok, pretty sure the one I'm going for is leaf sprung, so where would I get what's needed for the suspension lift? Pretty much given up finding a nice modified one, missed the few I've seen over the last couple of months. Seem way overpriced to me but I guess that's what people are willing to pay ...

Thanks to both, think it's starting to make sense. When did they change to coil sprung? Is it from the new shape like in that pic? Not going for the one with knackered motor I posted about before, prob going for a '95 I've seen (would it be leaf sprung??)

Can someone just explain the basics to me? New to all this so excuse my ignorance.. Looking at stock Samurai's that I'll want to put bigger mud tyres on. I've seen pretty cheap lift kits on trademe & the like, would this be all I need to do & would it at least be sufficient to be usable? Not talking ...

Thanks all, very helpful as I'm new to all this Basically I'm looking for a nice Samurai, not for serious offroad (mainly for farm use but would like it at least capable of a bit more) & was looking at a '96 with a stuffed motor, now thinking it might not be worth the trouble. Engine swap labour?
Hi, can someone give me an idea of labour/hrs to swap a Samurai motor with one from an escudo or similar? Not really up to it myself so would need a mechanic to sort it..thanks
