What's a good leaf spring upgrade for my series 3
Prefer simple and cheap but have access to welder etc
Prefer a lot more travel without chopping it all out to coil spring the lot

I put a trimmed down disco front shaft in mine real easy to do and more length in and out

I've got some on 1/2 worn simex 33s in taranaki

Anyone know much about these . Just did a demo on one liked it and went well stable as and a lot more nimble than I thought . But have heard that a lot of the side by sides have weak as cvs and axels but don't know anyone who has broken one . Any opinions appreciated or experience with any of these ...

I'd prob get a 2door mistral and use its shorter drive shaft to decide length so it's a stock part and easy replacement or just start with a mistral then build up But there are stronger base platforms to start from .But am all for different and new projects as they bring out new ideas . V6 mistrals ...

Discos are thirsty hell yeah and been told front end weak but I've only broken one cv and I beat the shit out of mine on 33" simexs . You shouldn't have to much trouble with it standard .
