Re: 4x4 Events

Dont often get on the forum as I only compete once or twice a year if the stars align correctly. In regards to winch challenges, I think one of the problems is the perception of the sport as often the only viewing a person who might think about having a go is Youtube, and that is often a distorted ...

Re: Queenstown Winch Challenge

I don't often get involved in these threads, but I agree with JR. My wife and I try and compete in the odd winch challenge and believe that to get more people involved in the sport, we need to provide events where people get the satisfaction of competing, being able to complete most of the stages ...

Re: Queenstown Winch Challenge - Aug 27-28

I agree, a spot of rain would have made a huge difference but in saying that there were no complaints at prizegiving . I believe we need to have events that might appear a bit more user-friendly as it will get more people into the sport, rather than have all the events hard-out truck breakers which ...

Re: F.S - 35" BFG MUD TYRES!!!!!! ASAP!!!!

Are you keen on breaking up a set, I only need two, one to replace a split sidewall and 1 as a spare. Happy to pay aroun $200 - $250 per tyre for the ones with the most tread. I am in Southland so would probably get freighted down.

Weather was a whole lot better than last year, obstacles were good but bogs cut up quiet quickly meaning they had to be modified with the digger during lunch time. Well worth the effort for those that came over....Dont know results but hopefully they will get posted at some stage soon

They have done about 4 rallies and 300 - 400 km of road work and therefore have good trad depth but the odd sidewall blemish etc. I am happy to sell seperately or together. Price per tyre is $250 ono plus freight at your expense. If you are ...

Free spool

I am trying to locate someone that might either build or be able to give me some ideas in building a pneumatic free spool for a Nissan GQ PTO winch. I have just started in the winch challenge arena and see that a good deal of time can be saved by being able to free spool the winch out a bit quicker ...

Just going through the process at the moment after having a Nissan converted to ute with rollcage, seats etc $350 plus GST is the cost, so they are quite correct when they say get all mods done before taking it in as it will cost the same for a single modification. Technically I think they alllow a ...
