Hey everyone, my entire family is sick with flu like symptoms, so we're stuck in queenstown for a few days. I don't think we're going to make it up there for the run. I really hope you all have fun and would love to publish some pics of the run.

Hey everyone, we ended up doing borland road yesterday evening. Made it within about 1pm of the end, where a huge tree blocked the road. Guess we'll see the end next time. It wasn't really challenging at all, but the views were pretty great

We're leaving today to head your direction! We're arriving via Sydney (where we're staying for a couple of days), then down to Christchurch next Wednesday. We'll be driving a VooDoo Blue FJ Cruiser down to Borland Road, then all the way up to Auckland, with our final run on 17 December at the beach ...

Looks like we can enter the beach on the south side & cruise up to Rimmer Road & out to make a nice loop. Is that a good plan?

I've been informed that Murawai beach, while technically open, is officially not opened for driving unless special permission is granted.
