Ended up being the diesel pump. Cost me $2500 for a replacement.

Will disconnect battery tonight and see what happens after work Monday. Looks like it may be a visit to the auto sparkies (bugger, i'd like to DIY this)

Alternator seems to be fine, its pumping out 13.7v while she's running, I ran power from the battery to the main window switch on the drivers door to wind the windows up. chalk up 1 win! Well, it ended up being the injector pump. Got it fixed ($2K) and its running fine now!

Anyone know if injector pump problems would show up as an error code on the ECU?

Yeah not too hard, just greasy (love those cv joints).

Got a few more jobs on the Terrano to do before xmas!

Took me a bit longer but got it all back together and recycled the grease/hup caps even though the outer rims were a little beat up.
