Ive got a 1990 proceed, 7 seater, manual gearbox, 2.6l petrol, dunlop super gripper tyres with two extra spares with good tread. Its an old truck so has all the usual knocks and bruises. Ive had it 2.5 years and put a new head in it 6 months ago. Runs pretty good now. Aftermarket temp guage, flushed ...

Heading north, turn left over the railway onto 'landslip valley road' then right onto 'maxted red' which was signposted there last time. Follow that road. U end going quite high and through paddocks. Can't miss it....

I'll be there... camera and all! (along with a few others from the camera club!)

Email is good for me, I'm just keen to go for the photography and I love watching them.... I've looked on web sites (although not this season as yet so don't know if its on any this year) over the last 2-3 years and there is no information I had been able to find. I'm not a member of any clubs so ...

Yeah it's very hard to tell when they are.... Internet doesn't help, I had emailed the clubs organising previously with no reply.... Hence the reason I posted on here hoping someone who is entering sees and let's us know.

Not sure on entry details, its hard enough to find out when they are! lol

Anyone have any dates for the Curio Bay, Landslip or any other rallies coming up? (Southland) Keen to get out there again with my camera....

The rally off old coach road next weekend (30th nov) Does anybody have a more accurate location than off that road? Its 40 odd km long.... just trying to find out details on location

I know its not quite the end of the weekend.... Went to the Rally at Curio Bay in Southland today - awesome event! lots of action 2-3 roll overs I saw myself which always makes watching all the more fun (nobody hurt!) A few photos I have added.... (for more go to www.facebook.com/myprofocus)

Does anybody know if there is a spectator charge for the curio bay rally tomorrow and the upcoming landslip one too?

I'll be there... camera in tow clicking away! looking forward to it! been a heap of rain in Invercargill in the last day or two.... will make for some good bogs and slippery hill climbs!

Anybody know of some not too dificult but fun 4wd trips in and around Queenstown Wanaka area? heading up there over christmas - doing, Nevis, Macetown and Skippers.... any other ideas for something different? Not looking for a tough truck trip.... mainly standard trucks in the mods department ...

Went to the Landslip Rally just out of Pukerau (north of Gore) today... didn't enter but was great watching - great weather and lots of mud flinging action.... That "Boat Anchor" did happen to have broken front left cv and flat rear tyre, may have added to its mass.. You get any pics of my vehicle ...

hey there I've just bought a 1991 Proceed.... I know they aren't great in the suspension department - what have people done or can suggest to do to these to increase the off road ability? For the rear I was thinking longer shocks in the back as the factory ones max out on full drop, maybe longer ...
