Re: "Looking" at a Rangie/VX Cruiser for towing the caravan
I faced a similar conundrum to Pete last year and am gratified that after careful consideration I went with a 24v VX Landcruiser. There are some VERY good buys to be had if one does their homework and is patient and, after a few simple mods and tuning, the return on and offroad is remarkable. I have ...

Another vote for Ctek Bill - best out there in my personal opinion. Keeps the dual batteries (starting and deep cycle) in boat in peak condition when sitting over the colder months.
P.S. Price the Ctek chargers in the UK and then compare against NZ.

Shop around however, as a customer of many years with KATS (Kaiapoi Alignment & Tyres, 82 Williams St, Kaiapoi 7630, 03-327 7789), I find their price and service is unmatched. Suggest you deal directly with Shane

Re: 80 series tyres..
Spent a lot of time recently researching options before electing to shod my 80 with the Maxxis MT762 Bighorn, and am very pleased with the choice. Great road manners, modest noise level @ highways speeds, capable off-road and, based upon the personal experience of others, can look forward to good ...

Wanted: 305/70/16 or near equivalent 285/75/16 for spare
Am North Canterbury based (back and forward to Chch daily) and am looking to purchase a 305/70/16, or near equivalent 285/75/16, for a spare. Must be 16" and have warrantable tread.
Would consider new tyre option if the price is right.
Cheers,
Leithfield.

Had exactly the same problem with an 80series fifteen odd years back Bill, at that time Barry & Jeff of Clunie Automotive saw me right, and had some very good contacts for parts. May still be worth a try.

From my point of view: If we sue the club as Defendant on the court,(yes, coz club name on the contract) then the club will sue someone unless they don't care to be convicted. you dont "sue" the club, well not as such anyway. you inform the police if you havent already and the police decide whether ...
