Hey mate i have celica bucket seats in my l200, i made up some custom brackets (which are most likely ilegal) and mounted them to the origanal holes on the floor. i just put the old benchy in for the WOF. lol

Hey mate, that bonnet scoop i have is from super cheap auto. it is a SAAS bonnet scoop. it got my bonnet scoop, cause i did top mount mine but i wanted to change it to a front mount cause it didnt seem to work. any way the bonnet scoop just helps keeps the engine temps down abit. . Also mate, make sure that your pipe joiners, (the rubber/silicone parts) has reinforcing stitching in it cause it will burst open as i learnt today and then i had to crawl home.

I have access to welder, grinder, intercooler pipeing if any needed. bolts and nuts, and tools (spanners, sockets, torque wrench, air compresser etc)

hahaha keen on driving up to kaitaia 3 hrs away? i would do it for free but i doubt you'd wana drive all that way. but at least you be able to test it properly.

i have never had my front mount fouled with mud and ive had my mates on dirt bikes thinking its fun roosting mud straight at the front of my truck. infact i found more mud in my snorkel and down my bonnet scoop. Personally i would go for a front mount air to air. they work best for 4WDs i found. water to air have heat spikes and take up alot more room ( radiator pipes, radiator etc) and harder to set up to work efficiently. they cost a hell of a lot more. an air to air is your best bet for performance. just ...

ok? as far as i know safaris have 2 identical oil filters, and one fuel filter on the lift pump in the engine bay. and if there is another fuel filter on it would be a mesh in the injector pump or in the tank itself. maybe the mechanic adjusted the fuel governor, which is easily done. also if he ...

i got a 2.5'' pipe on my 4d56t with only one of the shortest cobys i could buy and its pretty loud and the turbo whistles like hell thru it like a c-12 cat almost. but it has a very spine chilling growl to it i just love it.

the black smoke is unburnt diesel and yes older diesels smoke more. it is not burning all the fuel at lower revs cause the pump is adding to much fuel for the amount air entering the engine therefore making it run rich. it can be minimised by making sure the air filter is clean and not resticting ...

thanks mudbugga. yea i thought of the EGT temps but i havent gone crazy and wound it out. its been adjusted to what i think would be safe. i had a boost gauge on when i was adjusting the boost so its not too high.
