Re: Toyota DPF removal help please
We have just brought a Toyota coaster with DPF and am having endless issues with it throwing a p2002 code ( particulate filter blocked) have done forced burns and still no luck, am thinking it is either a stuffed filter ( it is a new import so could be) or a faulty sensor, am trying to get the test ...

Re: 1HDT Engine Drain Size & thread & Holes in Shock Towers
Just had a quick look and by my eyeballometre i would say that it is 10mmx1.25 ( or 10mm metric fine) Great thanks, the part that came with the heater won't work yeah I would guess that as it came out of the states it would be 1/4 or3/8 NPT fittings, as it is only a hose fitting that goes on there ...

Re: 1HDT Engine Drain Size & thread & Holes in Shock Towers
given the rules around corrosion within 200mm of shock mounts, I am picking that drilling is a no no depending on where? what are you mounting? Engine coolant heater, has to be down low and in the US they mount them to the shock mount on 80's. Can't find space anywhere else OHhh I wants one of ...

You may have to take it to a specialist if it is a electronic one ( or use the drill on the sender unit )

Re: changing/checking diff oil
yeah you should change the fuel filter as well,
make sure that you use a 24mm 6 point socket on your diff bungs as they round of very easily.
I use 75w/90 oil in my diffs the only thing that could be different in yours would be if it has a LSD fitted, then you will need a specific oil

Re: Public use of Defibrillators
As a Volly Fireman I have seen these in use ( and have used them) they are usually VERY simple to use and have Voice prompts to help with there use,the only thing with the ones that the fireservice carry is that the PADS have to be replaced after use( not sure on cost). Have personally saved 3 lives ...

Re: Landcrusier BJ74 Mid wheelbase FRP roof-Newbie
with a 136,000 km on the clock this would have at least 3 times that left in it so i would keep it. Toyota suggest that the oil is changed every 15,000 km and a filter every 7500 km BUT I suggest doing both every 10000 km or even both every 5000 km if it is being used hard, gearbox, transfer and ...
