Headed up to Lake Taylor over the weekend, got down to -5 or so overnight, closest i came to getting stuck was exiting the katrine/sumner track via the biggest hole near the Taylor camp ground, every other hole has gravel at the bottom... not that one.

If your still looking I have a set of Terrano II/Mistral standard springs, they can be modified by a Christchurch crowd to be taller, I forget specifically who but could look into it, assuming the springs are the same size...
