Looking at putting lsd diff out of knz130 surf into kzn185 will it bolt straight in or is it not compatible???

My Cruiser has a 10mm spacer on each side in the front, but I can't remember what the wheel studs are off. Bought some 6mm ones off trade me will try them 1st and maybe a slight grind on the caliper , went into repco this morning they're useless was in there for half n hr and then the guy says id ...

maybe a combination of 8mm spacers and a wee grind up will try a spacer 1st though, thanks

Hi all am halfway through putting disks on front of my fj40 cruiser but have hit a snag the 15x8 steel spoke wheels are hard on the face of the caliper and won't go right back aganist the hub ,do I need a different offset wheel to fit and can anyone tell me what it is I need or could try

Pulled front drums off my fj40 and stripped down knuckles just gotta clean everything up , what a messy job!! Then wait for all my new bits to arrive to put it back together with the disk brakes I'm getting off Jason (classic cruiser spares) looking forward to having breaks and piecing all the bits ...

Hi all my fj40 has drum brakes all round and it's terrible to try and stop and I'm sick of adjusting and playing round with them and are wanting to put disks on the front does anybody have a setup lying around or any ideas of what I could use parts wise to do the conversion?

Hi goin to fix rear trans seal on my fj40 and thought I may as well change trans oil while I'm there was wondering how much oil they take to refill and what oil would be best to use???

I had them in my old hilux and had some made for my fj40 cruiser and have never had a problem with getting wof's

I put one on my fj40 it didn't come with a template like the auction said it did but I just made one out of cardboard but it was easy because the side of my trucks pretty flat no curves or anything, its ok but def not as sturdy as some of the more expensive well known brands

$66 to fill up my fj40 with lpg and about $170 to fill it with petrol does go alot better on petrol though

After some extended rear shackles for my 82 fj40, ideally want them around 120mm-130mm from centre of pin to centre of pin

got it sorted today , mate fuked round with the allignment and cleaned the brakes up seems good again, I know another guy who had the same problem and his has disk brake front end. Got some front shockies too so now just gotta get some big arse shackles for the rear

if i was to put disks in what bolts straight in? would it need to be an axle from a 40 that was original disks or do others bolt up?
