if its a reduction gear startor replace contacts (3x8mm spanner bolts on a triangler plate)they are 2 copper angle plates one will be worn more than other replace both they are easy to change and cheep from local sparky,and grease bearings and check motor brushes, look out for a the ball bearing at ...

YIPPY I CAN TYPE IN CAPS TOO depends where counter gets pulse from some are from alt and also alt->to a pulse gennerator under dash have you checked all fuses? is it charging? check back of alt and make sure there are no broken wires have you got a gauges working except rev? check the color of wire ...

nps electric speedos are easy to ummmmm fix remove speedo head (dash) remove speedo from cluster locate the stepper motor for the numbers, smalll cut on circut board solder 2 wires to cut feed to motor solder to a hidin switch temp refit dash, test drive, needle will still work but ks dont click ...
