Re: Hilux 2.8 alternator issue
Is there any tests on the regulator I can do so I can confirm its stuffed? It'll be the reg. What part of the country are you in? I got a spare one you could try. I'm In Auckland so might be a mission to get it here. At the moment it's real intermittent and goes away as soon as I give it a rev and ...

Hilux 2.8 alternator issue
Hi I've got the t belt and battery lights coming on the dash and the voltmeter on the dash drops which i think is an alternator problem. It happens at idle randomly and when I give it a bit of a rev the lights disappear and all is well until it happens again. The brushes seem to look ok to me. Could ...

Re: Gun law changes?
There's also the nzda whos quite influential with gun laws too (sorry to jump in on you mentioning the NSA). They concentrate more on the hunting side of things though. Personally Iv'e never seen the need for a high power semi auto rifle anyway. If you need more than one shot (or maybe a second if ...

Re: Anyone know the difference between a SC12, SC14 supercha
I'd reccomend the sc14. My old ae101 Levin had an sc12 from factory and ran 8 psi with standard pullies on its 1600. They have a clutch like your a/c unit like mentioned before which operated when the vacuum pressure got to a certain point. Apparently you can manually over ride the switch and switch ...

Re: Lee Enfeild No1 or No4 303 wanted
I've got a sporterized 1945 (I'll just have to check the date stamped on the side to confirm) no4 lee Enfield with 40 rounds and a no drill scope rail which isn't on it yet but the original peep sights are on at the moment. I've shot a few rounds through it but haven't shot it from a bench rest to ...

center hole in wheels
I've heard two different stories on this but I've got a set of rims and the centre holes on them are bigger than the hubs on my truck. Are they ok to use or do the hole centres have to fit the vehicle hubs exactly? I've been told its ok from some and I've also been told the hubs take the weight off ...

This might sound like a bit of a dumb question but when you wind up torsion bars is it just increasing the spring tension to get the lift? Because I wound mine right up to even the front with the rear and it makes the ride pretty harsh now and I'd like to know if there's a way of softening the rode ...
