My rev counter has never worked since ive owned the truck. I want to get it to work its a 1989 ln106 3l. I am aware of the pick up from the diesel pump. but my pump only has the one wire for the solinoid. Is there something else that sends it?

sorted it it was the fule pump screw had been wownd rite in. so much better now i cane use the full throttle with no smoke. and ea a turbo would be good what would i expect of a 2.4t a little power or decent power. for what its worth i spose its good. will it crap my engine out in the longrun. and ...

hey i hav a ln106 1989. nothing outragess just lsd diffs. however im loseing power up hills and puffing black smoke its fine till i go over half throttle. im not an inestien on diesels. any one around the auckland north shore region that could help me sus what the problem is.
