Looks to me to be another person who asks the questions that they already know the answers to. Go ahead and do what you want to do, you asked for advice but your not listening. FITZY. read you in depth explanation which really helps, but also sounds like alot of money being put into custom springs ...

so theres my new one, some small boots on her but like i said, wanting to fit 35"s under there, looks like theres heaps of clearance so could maybe fit 35"s under. Mates just switched his 74 series springs for new 2" ones and hes sitting at the same height as before fully clearing 33"S so yeah haha ...

what about aiming for flex though, its allgood getting them 35"s under there but then i would want them to be able to flex and flex well. will look into ome springs though and ok, understand about the longer shackles then, the clearance between the front and the bottom of the bull bar already looks ...

ahh ok shit, well ive only got some 30" muddies on atm as they came with it but looks like theres sh!t loads of clearance lol, will post some pics of bits and peices later once im actually home haha but nice to know ya can run 35"s pretty easily then, maybe a 2" spring would be all it needs ae also ...

yeah looking into getting a surf with a 5m in it and swapping bits and bobs over to make one decent truck but this all depends on sale of my v6 which fell through so wont be happening anytime soon and dont think ill have a truck sorted for this trip haha unless i take like 20L of oil or just take ...

yeah well the idea is to buy an whole other diesel surf so if need to i can switch the fuel lines and tank and everything if it just ends up being easier, but i would imagine they all the same mounts, mates got a ln65 diesel lux and pretty sure his 2lt mounts are round the same as my 3ys

yeah saw bigstu threw one into his surf, what they like on fuel and cost to get a hold of? it would still require everything from clutch, gearbox, bell housing etc to all be redone as well though right? even if it did bolt onto my little gearbox the power would be too much ae?

running 31s atm and didnt think id go much bigger with the small power. so if fitting an EFI it would increase the power but then decrease again once i fit 33"s without changing ratios so i should still effectively have the same power as i do atm? haha

Ok so ya rekon I'm looking at around 5g for the engine conversion to say a 2jz and r series gear box so what about then buying my mates surf for 1k and leaving the 3l v6 in there and swap the auto to a manual? Then use my surfs diff to SAS the front and put the LSD in the rear? Lol so many options ...

Ok so the v6 is a bit of a drinker then what about a supra engine? They drinkers too and can't really v8 it as don't got the cash but am really considering the v6 due to the fact I'll get a few more mods to stick onto my surf aswell lol
