Jimny with engine knock.
Hi, My Jimny had a tick that developed to an engine knock. A short video of the engine https://youtu.be/DCPoHYkAo6I . What is likely to be the issue? so far I have been advised it's a rod knock. What would it cost to repair ? Rather than send to the wreckers Id rather it goes to someone as a rebuild...

ratteling noise in 3rd & 4th gear
Hi.
I recently got a 2007 Jimny and the last month or so it has developed a rattle in 3rd and 4th gear. The sound definitely seems to come from the gearbox. Am I looking at new bearings ?
Thanks
Greg

Unfortunately my porta-power with a hollow jack is out on loan. It is bit hard to explain, but i'll let this snap of a workshop manual to do the talking. ...

Re: front control arm - rear bush removal - 87 pajero.
Drill the rubber between the inner crush tube and the out casing out , knock the inner sleeve out with a hammer , cut the outer sleeve with a hacksaw and use a punch or something similar to tap it out , to put the new one in you could use a big g-clamp or a porter power hydraulic ram. Thanks for th...
