Ok great thanks again.
SO I've had a peek underneath, and as far as I can tell the noise is coming from somewhere in between the lower control arm, and where the curvey bit attached to the ball joint enters it.
Is there a rubber bush in here that might be pinched or old?

Re: 86 Surf Squeaks and Groans
Thanks for the replies, It makes noise from the back mostly squeaking which I'm pretty happy is just the leafs (older utes I've driven do the same). It was mostly the noise from the front I was worried about, on turn (I've already started to back of lock) and, only sometimes on heavy braking and its ...

86 Surf Squeaks and Groans
Hi everyone, I've just bought an 86 surf 2.4 turbo. Super stoked first 4wd, and it wont be standard for long. She's obviously pretty old but she seems very straight also. Couple of questions for anyone out there. Theres a few squeaks and what not coming from the suspension on heavy turning or ...

Re: Cheap daily driver 4x4 wanted
Yeah nuff said, I wasn't too keen on them anyway. Working to a student budget unfortunately so if it sh*ts itself bigtime I don't have another car or cash to get it running again. Looking at ones like this m m m m m Just a few examples. Like I say I'm not dripping with cash so thats why the little ...

Re: Cheap daily driver 4x4 wanted
SWB Pajeros seem reasonably cheap- is there a reason? My experience with mitsis is they use alot of oil and crack heads at high temps... but that was a while ago that we had one in the family.

Cheap daily driver 4x4 wanted
After a good condition 4x4 WOF and Reg all up to date etc. Around the 4-5k mark. Can be standard as. Don't mind high ks if its been looked after. Have been looking at, terrano, cruisers, surf, vitara, hilux and the like. Doesn't need to be pretty but I do need to drive it daily so mechanically sound ...

Re: Buying a Suzuki
Ok cool thanks! Would much prefer a SWB, just looking at all options at the moment. Any idea on the soft tops? If they have problems with rust around the seals or anything. I don't particularly want one but they come up from time to time. Most I've seen on Trademe so far are around 170ks. Yet to ...

Buying a Suzuki
Hi, new member here, I'm looking to buy a Suzuki. I had an SJ413 as my first car and loved it, now I'm looking to get another Suzuki . Looking around the 3-4k mark and have been searching for early-mid 90 escudos and vitaras. Just hoping someone can give me some advice on any potential issues to ...
