Just replaced all filters and engine oil in the Safari. Felt a bit of a tit when i ran out of fuel just down the road because I'd forgotten to prime it after changing the filter. Rookie mistake!

Maybe a day early but I went for a cruise up the Waimak to the gorge and my dog launched himself out of the window at 75kph. That was the end of my drive! He's been in care overnight and having x-rays today. Fingers crossed! Hope everyone has a great first weekend of summer....

Now old Blue Balls is running again after 10 months I organised a camping trip to Lake Coleridge. 13 people backed out because of the weather forecast. Turns out it shit itself in CHCH but myself and the 1 person that was still keen enjoyed clear skies, 19 degrees on the Saturday and 22 on Sunday ...

Technically not the weekend but I finally got my truck back having been out of action for 10 months. Thought this day would never come.....

Hi guys, I have a Schwitzer turbo and I noticed the impellor shaft has a bit of play. Any recommendations on where to take it to get new bearings/seats put in it and any ideas on price?

After 8 months off the road I finally managed to drop the Safari off with the mechanic to get her running again. Can't wait!

I've seen these mentioned quite a bit on the Aussie forums. Apparently improve response and economy bit and stop the fouling up of the intake manifold. Does anyone know where I can buy them in NZ? Cheers
