I had to put a new sump on my engine hit the front diff but it hasent leaked since using the cork gasket

No I had it all on the pick up isnt the problem its the drag link that takes some rtv i got sick of rtv so i put a cork gasket

Yes I have now done it twice drop the diff then undo all the sump bolts turn steering one way to get drag link out the way and fight and move in a way where you can get it around the drag link.

I can say they are not cheap to get built you will be looking at around $1200-1500

A guy i know done alot of work to his vitara including getting made up 2.4 gears he got them made through howart engineering

I have just bought 2.4 transfer gears for my vitara the guy i got it off also had 2.7-2.8 diffs but kept them Is there any where i can get some?

Yes different mounting points on a LWB and a SWB I might have the one on mine available soon its a swb and extra mounting points made for snatching a vitara with 2 hooks doesnt have a winch mount on but could be modified easy enough. ill be looking for around $500 http://i.imgur.com/VL1AtnN.jpg http ...

They have a resistor pack down by fan unit (behind glovebox) it is about $50 for new resistor pack or could be switch mine has stopped working on 1 and 2 you can replace that or buy a dc motor speed control find a place to mount and re run wiring they are $25 +shipping http://www.surplustronics.co ...

Thanks yea the car just cuts if it gets wet I could hear sparks when I sprayed water over coil I also have been shocked myself and also my mate getting too close to coil while engine running when dry I will swap over coil lead and try again. coil lead doesn't look the best on ends just looks like ...

I sprayed water all over didn't do it as bad as the puddle but did a little how do I seal up the dizzy? can I RTV seal it or is there a better way?

Thanks for that I have one in the car i bought check engine light bulb had been taken out put a new one in and got mass air flow sensor code and vehicle speed sensor code. tested mass air flow found not to be working so must me working on oxy sensor and over fueling i can get an after market one ...

I had it on wide open throttle but I left the spark plugs in. In Haynes manual it says 199 is standard and minimum is 170. I do on average 100k a day as I do deliverers and just as a run around.
I am currently at weltec doing an automotive course and I am able to use the gear there to do it myself

I have just replaced the camshaft seal and keyway looked good but last night I was driving it then all of a sudden it just lost power and now the whole thing shakes and when I rev it up it just sounds like the timing has just completely gone I wont have a chance to look at it till wednesday.

I have a Suzuki Escudo 1.6 G16A and recently done a compression test on it and found all four cylinders were all around the 145 mark take or give one is it worth it to recondition it or should I leave it as it is.

Do I need a PCV?
I have just replaced the motor in a suzuki escudo with the same kind (1600cc 16 valve) and there is no pcv valve just a different little metal pipe for another pipe to connect onto. What should I do would this be causing by weak power/ slow acceleration?

When you buy the clutch make sure you are getting the right size because there are two different sizes of the clutch and all you can really do to stop the slipping is to adjust it but can't say it will last long.
